Hello! I'm happy to report that I accomplished my goal of writing 52 letters in 2021! It was a close call, though. I wrote four letters as we were getting ready for Midnight Mass (meaning I finished around 9 pm). Whoops, procrastination certainly hit me, especially while I had my summer job and during finals week.
Without further ado, here are the pictures of my last letters:
Week 51:
For this week, I wrote to my 5th grade teacher again. It has been so fun to reconnect with her through the art of letter writing! Since I was behind, I used a piece of notebook paper for the letter and decorated the envelope with a Spirograph design. The circle area makes a great area for the address too.

Week 52:
This was a BIG week of letter writing. I won't bore you with my writing, so enjoy the pictures!
A letter to my 8-month old niece! I will be giving this to her when she can read. :) |
Letter #2 was to my older brother AND written in all cursive. Envelope art is by my brother, Esteban. |
A Christmas package for my pen pal: Two letters, our family Christmas Card, a Sacred Heart journal, a Nativity scene painting, a Christmas playlist, and our Bible in a Year reading plan |
Calligraphy practice! |
Another envelope art made with my trusty ol' Spirograph |
My final letter to Michelle Houts, the author who started this challenge |
Thanks to all who followed along on my letter writing journey! I had so much fun writing to new people and reconnecting with others. I plan on doing it again in 2022, as well as writing some posts on letter writing.
What is the most letters you've written in a week? Did you write to anyone new this year?
